I HAVE to tell you about my experience at this wonderful studio. First, I called to inquire and immediately felt a great connection with the girl on the phone. I made my appointment for me and my wife and when we walked in, we were again greeted with warmth and smiles. We both immediately felt comfortable in an otherwise nerve wracking environment (going in for dance lessons). We took our lessons with Deborah and she is an incredible instructor to say the least. She is SO talented at teaching. We learned so fast and was amazed at how easy she made it all seem! It's just how she explains things and her "nature" that makes you learn. It's hard to put into words. Basically, we had a great time and are very pleased. Trust me when I say that this is the best studio in town. You can't go wrong here. Thanks for reading.

My fiance and I have four left feet between the two of us us, so we decided to take some dance classes to prepare for the first dance at our wedding. We stumbled across these reviews of Deborah and thought we'd give her a try. We're so glad we did. She's fantastic! Since neither one of us are very coordinated, we were dreading the lessons, but she's made them fun. She's very patient and observant and makes us both feel very comfortable. We're thinking of signing up for more lessons even after the wedding!

Pros: Very accommodating of people's schedules; great instructor

Deborah is very patient and an amazing instructor. She makes the class fun and enjoyable. I look forward to here classes. She has a way of expressing her ideas and instruction that is very unique from other instructors . This unique way allows me to pick up the techniques fast and efficiently making me a better dancer. I have learnt so much from her.

Pros: You will become a great dancer

Cons: You will always want to dance!!! (no cons)

Deborah Perez makes dancing fun for the novice and the advanced dancer. Ballroom dancing? You think you have two left feet? She'll change that. You think you want to audition for Dancing With the Stars? Let Deborah be your choreographer. Her group classes attract so many nice people, the time flies by. Her private classes catapult your abilities to places you never imagined. She's funny, happy and so observant of the most subtle of dance moves. At whatever level you dance, you will improve and move to the next. Whether you're in a partnership or single, believe this or not, dancing promotes personal growth, because it teaches you so much about yourself.

A long time native, and a recent graduate with a dance degree I've been frequenting the same dance teacher and dance studios in L.A. for quite some time. By Your Side Productions and Deborah's classes are like a breath of fresh air. Her technique as a teacher is on point--she's fun & welcoming and has a wonderful way of teaching. Sometimes ballroom dancing can be overwhelming but she's breaks it down so everyone feels able to master the movement. So whether you're trying to break a sweat or you're pursuing a dance career and want to maintain you're training regimen By Your Side is the way to go!

I've been taking dance salsa and ballroom classes with By Your Side Productions for over a year now. I've stayed with Deborah because she is really patient and kind. Not to mention, the cost of her classes are very affordable and the other students are really pleasant to be around. Deborah also has a way of pin pointing exactly what you are doing wrong when you are dancing and correcting you so that you can dance better and have fun dancing. Take classes at By your Side Produstions. You will definitely learn how to dance and have lots of fun too!!!

I've been salsa dancing for a few years, but I'd been wanting to learn how to ballroom dance for ages, and finally a friend suggested I take classes with Deborah. I'm so glad I did!! She's a great teacher! In addition to being incredibly knowledgeable about the tecnique and style of each dance, she's also patient, fun and great at explaining the dance steps and how to make them look good. The prices are competitve (a great value for the amount of instruction you get) and location is really convenient, too - an easy walk from the Promenade or the beach, but if you're driving in, it's never a struggle to find parking near the dance studio. I highly recommend Deborah & By Your Side Productions!!

Pros: Great instructor, decent class size, easily accessible studio (location/parking)

Cons: i wish i had more time to take more classes!!

I take salsa lessons here and have been for the past 2 1/2 years. Deborah is my instructor and I think she is an awesome instructor. She is very patient & entertaining. The environment is uplifting and all the students get along very well. I always look forward to my Thursday night classes. Deborah also schedules two fun outings a month for us which makes it even better because you get to do a lot of dance related things as a group. I don't know of any other place that does that.

Pros: Fun, Great Outings, Family/Friendly Environment, Great Instructor, Great Location, Easy Parking, Great Steps to learn
