The Scene
Benefiting two Santa Monica schools, it's well worth the $1 admission. Because this is such a small event compared with other area meets (only 65 spaces), the vendors tend to be well acquainted with each other, and they go out of their way to help patrons. A small catering truck provides snack food and beverages.
The Goods
Bargain hunters will find a little of this, a little of that. Gramophones from the '30s intermingle with Pearl Beach Barbie and an inflatable six-foot ÒJawsÓ pool toy. There always seems to be the requisite scary guy with a selection of Confederate Army knives, but to each his own. One frequent vendor carries antique fruit labels, including some out of Tustin and Villa Park, which have become increasingly rare. One might even be lucky enough to locate a 1964 Rolling Stones reel-to-reel or an unused World War II ration book.

Insider Tips
Early BirdsVendors set up at 6am, and though the swap meet doesn't officially open until 8am, they don't stop early bird shoppers.

I go to this market whenever I need to find a gift for someone... I never fail to find some unusual item that just fits the bill perfectly... I find run of the mill made in China stuff so BORING... this place is full of interesting, classic, old school oddities that you'd never find anywhere else. And it's priced really reasonably. I'd rather spend my money and time finding real treasures than wasting it on junk. I definitely recommend checking it out.

This is a great little flea market. It has about 50 vendors with a variety of cool things. They recently added a second event so they are now open the 1st & 3rd Saturday of every month. Yay! The most striking thing about it is you can get a real deal for your treasure. It is a sleeper. Real finds at reasonable prices. Great art, antique jewelry, fabrics and ribbons, furniture, china, pottery, musical instruments, cd's and records, gadgets. Every time I go I find amazing things. I highly recommend this place.
