Editorial Review for L'ezu Atelier – by Constance Tillotson
In Short
This tiny bridal boutique is filled to the rafters with a plethora of finely crafted gowns. You'll find a nice collection of simple, refined bridesmaids' gowns that can be dyed any color. Designers Corina Lewinzon and Patricia Nevil know how to re-create wedding gowns in any classic style. They use 18th- and 19th-century patterns and old techniques to provide each bride with the resplendent dress her heart desires.

I went in to look for my Fall '09 wedding and based on the glowing reviews on cityseach I was really excited to go in. I found the shop to be much smaller then I had expected and the selection was very limited. Though I did try on some that I really thought were nice, I thought they were way overpriced for what you're getting. The salesgirl that was helping me was nice but I found strange that she would sit down while I was trying gowns on. I thought it was decent but the search continues.

I had a great experience buying my dress here last spring/summer. I was a last-minute dress shopper and unlike the other places I visited the designer at L Ezu did not pressure me into making a quick decision. They were very careful to find out exactly what kind of dress I was looking for and what type of wedding I envisioned. They helped me take one of their existing styles and change it to better suit me and the style of my wedding (outside in the mountains). They also put up with a flood of suggestions by my mom, mother-in-law and step-mother, all of whom were impressed with the shop. And they were willing to stay open late so I could come in after work for the fittings. Final thought-- they use exquisite materials and I don't think you can find a custom dress at a better price. One year later- people are still telling me how beautiful my dress was.
Pros: Great Service, Friendly, Amazing Dress
Cons: Weddings are too expensive
