This one-of-a-kind tea house transports Angelenos far from the familiarity of a Starbucks chai soy latte to a world of exotic tea bliss. Upon entering, customers are met by trickling stone fountains and traditional paper lanterns where hanging bamboo mats create secluded alcoves for each individual table. Sit in one of the clean wooden tables, check out the spacious private back rooms or skip the chairs altogether and choose to sit on pillows at one of the cozy floor tables. The exciting menu offers traditional Korean green teas, roots, citrus and loose leaf teas, as well as healing tea mixtures like the lightly sweetened, floral 'lover's tea' and the comforting and slightly creamy walnut tea. Other classics include the Korean punch with persimmon and cinnamon, Korean shaved ice with sweet red beans, ice cream and fruit, as well as the snack platter with cookies, walnut balls and persimmon rolls.
